looking to keep ourselves connected commercially to the suppliers that
carry out the utilisation of forests, ecologically sustainable in the area, and that, as a consequence, have obtained or are obtaining
the various environmental certification recognised at the international
level.
Here the standard certification employers:
- FSC® FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL: it's the most diffuse certification standard at worldwide level, supported by the principal ecologists groups like WWF and Greenpeace. F.lli Gallo Legnami S.p.A. was one of the first Italian companies to obtain the FSC certification, with the possibility of selling products the rules established by the Forest Stewardship Council respect.
- PEFC PAN EUROPEAN FOREST CERTIFICATION (standard developed by the governments and the European forest companies in cooperation with the ecologists, already much spread in Sweden and Finlandia)
- SFI SUSTAINABLE FORESTRY INITIATIVE: american Standard created to come in against deprived to the particular demands of the property since in United States most forests are not of state property.
- CSA CANADIAN STANDARDS ASSOCIATION: management system of the Canadian forests established by criterions internationally recognized.
